A case of bilateral homonymous hemianopsia with macular sparing is reported. Loss of vision results from separate, simultaneous infarction of both occipital lobes, caused by occlusion of the posterior cerebral arteries. Visual field examination, computed axial tomography and pattern visual evoked potentials were performed.
