Abstract
Clinical suspicion of immunological deficiency in a 5 mth old girl was confirmed by the laboratory data with respect to both cell and humoral (IgA's only) immunity. Antibiotic, antimicotic and immunological treatment was administered: the last consisted of Ig's, plasma deprived of white cells and transfer factor. A transient clinical improvement and partial modification of some of the cell immunity indices were noted when transfer factor was given.
