The authors relate a case of pemphigus with histological pattern of eosinophic spongiosis. The diagnosis was made with clinical picture of bullae or vesciculo-papular eruption, caratteristic of dermatitis herpetiformis, immunofluorescent features of pemphigus, histological pattern of eosinophilic spongiosis and, sometimes, a dramatic response to sulphapyridine or sulphones.
