Abstract

We report on a 9-year-old boy with a thymic cyst. The radiological features are described and compared with those of other paediatric cystic neck masses. A correct preoperative diagnosis of a thymic cyst is difficult and in many instances impossible, even when all the diagnostic available tools are utilised.
