Abstract

Within the ETNA project-a European Thematic Network aimed at implementing a EU-wide Portal devoted to ICT-based assistive technologies and e-accessibility solution-a Taxonomy has been implemented for describing the technical details of ICT based AT products. The taxonomy, based on a two level hierarchy of Clusters and Features, has been connected to the third-level categories of the ISO 9999 standard-'Assistive Products for Persons with Disability-Classification and terminology'. A procedure has been defined to manage the continuous update of the taxonomy.
