Abstract
The author describe a case of a woman with a primary monoclonal IgG cryoglobulinaemia who developed a diffuse proliferative glomerulonephritis. In this patient renal damage was particularly severe and prolonged anuria complicated the outcome. Despite the ominous prognosis attributed to acute renal failure in cryoglobulinaemic nephritis, this patient's renal function recovered.
