Abstract

This paper reports preliminary data concerning some virulence factors (hemolysis, protease capacity, cell adherence) and antibiotic resistance in clinical and environmental Aeromonas strains. Results showed different expression of virulence factors between the clinical and environmental strains. Environmental strains of Aeromonas showed resistence to a greater number of antibiotics tested.
