Abstract

The treatment of severe alopecia areata by the use of SADE brings about an increase in the T-suppressor-cytotoxic lymphocyte subpopulation and IA antigen bearing cells. Initial clinical results are good although some 50% of patients return to their starting condition after 4 months.
