Abstract
After administration of fenproporex (N-2-cyanoethylamphetamine · HCl), described as an anorectic drug devoid of CNS stimulant effect, to rats and humans considerable amounts of amphetamine were found in rat brain and human urine. A consistent CNS stimulant effect was also observed both in rats and humans.
