Abstract

Blood clot or tissues obtained from rats bearing an intracerebral or a subcutaneous T8 uterine epithelioma contain cancer cells as demonstrated by the fact that they induce tumoural growth when implanted in other animals. The cancer dissemination is more rapid and more frequent when the tumour is implanted intracerebrally than subcutaneously. These observations will be applied to studies of cancer chemotherapy.
