Abstract

We present an evaluation of the advantages and limits of the different tests for determination of the in vitro chemosensitivity to antimicotic drugs: agar diffusion, macro and micro broth dilution and the E-test. The introduction of NCCLS guidelines has represented a big step forward in the in vivo evaluation of antimicotic drugs activity; however some problems remain unresolved.
