Abstract
The Author' aim is to evaluate the presence/level of Alexithymia in sample of adolescent patients with diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa compared with a control subjects and to evaluate the parents' score at the scale and consider possible correlations with their child's score. The 31 patients and their parents has been requested to compile a self-administered questionnaire (TAS-20). The same questionnaire was compiled by a control adolescent group matched to the patients by age and socio-economic status, without history of eating disorders and a control group of parents. The Authors discuss data compared.
