A description is given of the Psychosomatics projects of Tubingen University which aimed at identifying valid indication criteria for three different therapy procedures: social skill therapy; cognitive restructuration; and autonomous therapy. This is followed by clarifying behavioral change in psychophysiological disorders by describing its occurrence in a case with intermittent hypertension.
