Abstract
After a brief review of the main clinical characteristics of ketamine and after stressing technical and functional aspects of electrocochleographic research, the anesthesiologic method for diagnostic investigation in pediatric otolaryngology is described. Good results were obtained using i.m. ketamine as sole anaesthetic agent in 118 patients.
