Abstract

The authors reported a woman who developed in the last 5 years asymptomatic cutaneous patch lesions localized only on the mammary regions. Histological examination revealed in reticular dermis several capillaries with a parietal and intravascular proliferation of monomorphic and ovular cells with immunohistochemical (Factor VIII, Ulex Europeus, Desmin) and ultrastructural (Weibel-Palade bodies) markers of endothelial cells. Clinical and histological picture is compatible with benign reactive proliferating angioendotheliomatosis.
