Binding of high density lipoprotein3 to human liver membranes

Abstract

Human HDL3 binds to a high affinity site present on human liver membranes which is distinct from the apo E and B/E receptors. Further studies are required to address the question as to whether this binding site is expressed in vivo and which component of HDL mediates this binding.
