Abstract
Secondary bladder neoplasms are very uncommon events. The authors report a case of a lung microcytoma with bladder metastasis. After having reviewed the literature on the topic, they discuss the mechanisms involved in the propagation of the cancer, the clinical-diagnostic approach and the therapeutic procedures. The authors underline the possibility of bladder metastasis in patients with known tumours and propose a conservative treatment (radiotherapy) for symptomatic control.
