The Authors report the case of a 28 years old woman in her tenth week of pregnancy who arrived to the hospital in a state of coma, after a severe asmathic crisis. Clinical and EEG data showed cerebral death, while hormonal and echographic data showed that the fetus was alive. The Authors discuss this rare case comparing it with other similar cases described in medical literature.
