The authors describe their experience and the execution modalities of broncho-alveolar lavage, a technique of recent use in children. The new anaesthesiologic adopted technique consists of a general anaesthesia in mask, without the use of muscle relaxant drugs. Finally, the authors show their personal case record referred to 1993.
