We describe a patient suffering from drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy whose seizures displayed bruxism as the constant and main clinical feature. Forceful rhythmical grinding of the teeth with rhythmic audible sounds was related to 10 recorded seizures. In 6 seizures ictal bruxism was associated with rhythmic flexo-extension of the left foot. Our data show that bruxism can occur not only as a parasomnia but also as a seizure-related event during wakefulness.
