Abstract

During this research the Authors have considered the various causes of vascular micro-circulatory pathology and the respective effects on the membraneous labyrinth. It is shown that changes in both the vascular wall and the circulatory (corpuscular and plasmatic) factors are involved in the vascular pathology. An adequate therapy should therefore act on these various factors. For this reason the therapeutic association haemodilution flunarizine has been proposed. The population studied was composed of 16 patients suffering from coclear-labyrinthine symptoms. The patients were preliminarily esaminated using audio-vestibular, hematochemical and hemoreological tests (erythrocyte filtration). In order to study the morphology of the micro-circulation we used conjunctival biomicroscopy. The population was then divided into two groups, one group was treated by hemodilution and the other with the therapeutic association hemodilution-flunarizine. Our results put into evidence the efficiency of these two treatments in improving the hemoreological parameters and the audio-vestibular symptoms in our patients. One also appreciates a better effect on the therapeutic association hemodilution-flunarizine in the treatment of vascular labyrinthine pathology.
