12 bronchopneumopathic patients were studied by means of ventilatory functional tests and dynamic bronchography before and after intravenous injection of 0.1 mg of Trimethoquinol. During expiration and coughing attacks, bronchography confirmed 2 fundamental alterations in bronchial dynamics, at times associated. These are central or peripheral alterations, depending on the site of bronchial obstruction. The use of the bronchodilator revealed bronchodilatation in a certain class of patients and gave rise to responses that were not always easy to interpret. These responses did, however, provoke some interesting remarks and suggested the further use of Trimethoquinol and bronchodilators in general in bronchography.
