We carried out a multicentric study about blood pressure, from birth until the adolescence, using a standard method, to find the average values of the blood pressure to make diagnosis of hypertension. We studied 17.099 children, 9.262 male and 7.837 female, coming from 21 Italian cities, from Milano to Messina. Using this tables, planned comparing the values of the blood pressure to age and height, it is possible to make diagnosis of borderline arterial hypertension in subiects with values of blood pressure higher than 90° centile, while we consider really hypertensive children with values higher than 95° centile.
