N2 - Chronic kidney disease (CKD) may complicate cancer and it may also affect decisions and outcomes of its treatment. Clinicians working in oncology should keep in mind that preexisting CKD is highly prevalent among cancer patients. In addition, cancer patients may present with acute or slowly developing kidney injury because of drug toxicities or other complications. Therefore knowledge of how to address the issue of CKD, as a complication of cancer care, is valuable and addressed in this chapter.
