Abstract

Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate and bipolar transurethral enucleation of the prostate are safe and effective treatment options for men under chronic anticoagulation/antiplatelet (AC/AP) therapy. With the increasing number of men under AC/AP therapy who require surgical interventions for lower urinary tract symptoms or benign prostatic hyperplasia, finding safe treatment options emerges as a major clinical need.
