The authors describe the clinical presentation, signs and symptoms and diagnostic procedures in cases of metastatic brain tumors. Incidence and different pathological aspects are considered. Surgical treatment is discussed as to its limits and indications, Surgical management of intracranial metastasis is palliative but it leads to pathological diagnosis, permits clinical improvement and adjuvant therapies.
