Color Doppler imaging (CDI) in choroidal melanoma

Abstract

The correlations between the intralesion/perilesion vascularization and the tumor grading are evaluated. Observed were 16 patient affected by choroidal melanoma. Color Doppler imaging (CDI) allowed the determination of the flow characteristics in neoplastic lesions vascularization. CDI was also applied to three patients treated with conservative therapy during the follow-up.
