Abstract

Exercise (Ex) test results were correlated with angiographic findings in 170 patients (pts) with a prior myocardial infarction (MI) (65 anterior transmural: Group A; 63 inferior transmural: Group B; 42 nontransmural: Group C) undergoing ergometric stress testing a mean of 7 months after acute MI and coronary angiography within 5 days - 19 months. There was no difference in the incidence of Ex-induced chest pain in the Maximal Work Capacity (MWC) between the groups.
