Abstract

The authors have conducted this experimental study to investigate the cytoprotective effects of four drugs on kidney parenchyma using a rat model. Particularly they have tested: sodium heparin, defibrotide, calcic nadriheparine, urokinase. Results obtained let them positively evaluate the effects of all drugs tested. So their use should be useful in organ transplantation to prevent hot ischemia damage in multiorgan donors with cardiac arrest.
