Abstract

The paper illustrates and discusses the content and application criteria of a questionnaire specially developed for the study of spinal alterations in working populations. Particular attention is given to the description of the classification procedure for exposure to factors of mechanical overload of the spine and for previous history of cervical, thoracic and lumbo-sacral disease. The similarities and differences compared with other recent proposals in the literature are identified and discussed.
