Abstract
The sonographic features and the diagnostic value of the deflection of the utero-vesical jet in several subjects with ureteral and vesical disorders are illustrated. A deflection was considered when the normal antero-medial direction was not recognizable and the angle created was abnormal. In all patients with a deflected jet, an underlying cause was found and no case of deflection was identified in otherwise normal patients.
