Abstract
On October 22nd, 1994 the Congress 'Aspects of diagnosis and treatment in the Rheumatological disease' was held in Bergamo. The Congress was organized by Societa Italiana di Reumatologia (Chairman: Bruno Colombo) and by Societa Medico-Chirurgica Bergamasca (Chairman: Maurizio Gorini) supported by Ordine dei Medici della Provincia di Bergamo in cooperation with Societa Prodotti Antibiotici S.p.A., Milano. Osteoporosis, diagnostical approach to the patient suffering from joint pain, how to manage a patient with rheumatological disease and the use of immunosuppressant drugs in rheumatology were the topical subjects discussed. The mentioned Congress top-level was attested by the presence of the greatest names in the rheumatological field: Prof S. Todesco, University of Padova as a chairman and several major figures.
