Abstract

The Authors present an epidemiological study on 60 patients hemiplegics under rehabilitative treatment. The increase of risk (diabetes, hypertension, smoke, dislipidaemia) and clinical aspects of anatomic cerebral damage and their chances of recuperation following rehabilitative treatment, have been studied. This study was completed with a careful enquiry on the type and morphology of vascular cerebral damage, through such non invasive methods as Doppler and Echotomography of the supraortic trunks.
