Eating seizures: A case report

Abstract

Eating seizures represent an unusual pathological event with complex physiopathological mechanisms. A case of 24 year-old boy who presented partial complex seizures evoked by eating is described. Various mechanisms which may be responsible in precipitating the seizures and the role of prophylactic treatment with clobazam are discussed.
