Abstract

We report common EEG findings in 3 brothers (♂ 5.5 years old; ♀ 4.2 yrs; ♀ 2.8 yrs) with autism and cognitive defect. We detect at EEG performed during wakefulness more alfa frequencies than in children with the same age and spindles of beta frequencies in the frontal area; moreover, there is less organisation of sleep activity patterns.
