Abstract

phosphatidylserine (PS) modifies the pituitary hormones secretion in humans through a hypothalamic dopaminergic activation. The induced inhibition of Prolactin (PRL) secretion compares satisfactorily to the one induced by other dopaminergic agents. In addition, PS counteracts the hyperprolactinemising effect of neuroleptics and enhances somatotropin (STH) release from the pituitary.
