Abstract

A double-blind versus placebo study with benzydamine mouthwash, to demonstrate the histoprotective and antiinflammatory effects on the oral mucosa during intra-arterial chemotherapy of the head and neck, confirmed on a preliminary basis that benzydamine had a beneficial effect.
