Abstract

The effects of caerulein, a decapeptide chemically related to the C-terminal octapeptide of cholecystokinin, were evaluated in some experimental models of epilepsy in the rabbit. Neither strychnine focus, induced by topical application of 0.1% strychnine sulphate, nor after-discharge, induced by electrical stimulation of amygdala, were modified by i.c.v. administration of caerulein.
