The Authors report 3 girls with Rett syndrome, affected by daily seizures, resistant to most of available drugs in 2 cases and to only CBZ in 1 case. A complete seizure control was achieved by Vigabatrin in add-on therapy in all patients. The AA. describe the EEG recordings before and during Vigabatrin treatment and discuss the possible role of GABA in pathogenesis of seizures in these patients.
