Abstract
The authors report their experience with the first 150 cases of carpal tunnel syndrome treated with endoscopic section of the transverse ligament. The technique used is the Agee procedure which requires a single antibrachial cutaneous approach. The results, analyzed with a follow-up of 5-18 months, show the disappearance of the pain with an increase of the force in the postoperative period and a fast recovery of occupational activity. In the opinion of the authors Agee's endoscopic section of the transverse ligament is an easy and fast operation without short or long term complications.
