Abstract

Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) continues to be one of the dominant topics in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy. The role of EUS in the management of anorectal pathology is growing in spite of preoperative treatment of rectal cancer and in other anorectal pathology as endometriosis and fecal incontinence. This review examines original articles published since January 2003. It is divided into subcategories based on the different topics of anorectal pathology.
