Abstract
Eosinophilic fasciitis is a scleroderma-like syndrome, first described by Shulman in 1974. Clinical and histological findings of this syndrome are well characterized but etiology and pathogenesis remain unknown. We decribe a 35-year-old man suffering from eosinophilic fasciitis, whose pathogenesis could be related to toxic products. We discuss the pathogenesis and the possible role of chemicals in this disease.
