Abstract
Rett Syndrome (RS) is a neurodevelopmental disorder mainly affecting females, mostly linked to MECP2 gene mutations. EEG abnormalities and epilepsy are frequent in RS. The authors refer on clinical and EEG data of 16 patients affected by classical RS. The epilepsy was observed in 11 subjects. We analyze the main features of epilepsy and EEG in order to evaluate correlations between clinical stages, epilepsy and EEG evolution.
