Abstract
The evaluation of Expressed Emotion in 25 families living with a member affected by epilepsy allowed us to throw light upon some aspects which can alter family dynamics: it can occur an inversion of the evolutional tendencies which lead the family system along his vital cycle with consequent development in disadaptive relational patterns characterized by involvement, overprotectiveness, severity and incapability of conflicts' resolution.
