Abstract
A case-control study aiming at evaluating the prevalence and characters of psychiatric disturbance has been undertaken on 50 patients with idiopathic epilepsy and 50 age and sex-matched controls in the General Hospital of Monza, Milan. Cases and controls, all of which were required to have an IQ >80, were submitted to a standardized psychiatric interview.
