Abstract
Among 630 patients with clinically definite MS we found a prevalence of epilepsy in 2.22%. Most frequently encountered were partial epilepsies which were secondary to chronic progressive forms of MS with severe physical disability, presence of brain atrophy on MRI and CT scans and plaque confluency.
