We describe a 40-year-old woman with an atypical electroclinical picture characterized by central-temporal paroxysmal abnormalities during sleep and by ictal 3.5-4 Hz spike-and-wave complexes associated with eyelid mioclonias and absence. Analysis of EFHC1 gene resulted negative for mutations.
