Abstract
Relationships between epilepsy and cerebrovascular disease have been retrospectively studied. The vascular etiology of epilepsy is easy in cases with cerebral ischemic lesions. On the contrary, no definite criteria have been found for establishing the vascular etiology of seizures when epilepsy manifested itself in a context of an otherwise asymptomatic cerebral arterial disease.
