Estimating the instantaneous frequencies in superimposed 1/f noise

Abstract

In this paper a method for estimating the instantaneous frequencies using a state space model based method is applied to signals with superimposed 1/f noise. For testing of this method signals with a S/ N ratio from 0dB up to 10dB within 1/f noise were used. As a result this method is capable of estimating the instantaneous frequencies in superimposed 1/f noise as well as in white noise.
