Abstract

The objective of Aveeno study by Age Groups was to evaluate the tolerability, cleansing properties and efficacy on skin symptoms and lesions in subjects aged between 0-14 years, treated with three product containing colloidal oatmeal as indicate by age group: a) newborns and babies (0-2 years) = Aveeno Colloidal Baby; b) young children 3-10 years = Aveeno Fluid Baby; c) adolescents (11-14 years) = Emulave Fluid. The results shows that the judgements from the efficacy rests on cleansing properties and tolerability have been "good/optimal" in >90% of cases. In those subjects with skin symptoms/lesions, a judgement of "improvement" have been observed with the three products in >80% of cases: the results have shown that more regular and prolonged use (preferebly daily use) generates the best results.
